Jorge RemondesJorge Remondes holds a PhD in Communication, in the scientific area of Marketing, from the University of Vigo. He is the coordinator of the ‘Digital Marketing & E-Commerce’ trilogy. He is the author of the book ‘Internal Marketing and Communication -The Impact of using new technologies in SMEs’ and co-author of 21 books (technical and scientific). He has published several articles on communication and digital marketing in scientific journals Web of Science and SCOPUS and in technical journals in Portugal and abroad, as well as in the general and specialized press. Founder and Editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Marketing, Communication and New Media, Web of Science Journal. Associate Editor of the scientific journals Management in Review and European Journal of Applied Business and Management. He was a manager for 12 years in national and multinational economic groups and began his academic career in 2005. He has been a business consultant. He is a trainer of business executives in the areas of marketing and sales as well as social media, having totaled more than 13,000 hours of training and consultancy activity. He created the Postgraduate Programme in Digital Content Marketing & Analytics at the Porto Executive Academy (PEA), of which he is Director. He created and coordinated the Postgraduate Programme in Digital Marketing & E-Commerce for 10 years at ISVOUGA Executive Education. He has been a guest lecturer on short courses and seminars at the Universidad de Vigo and the Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes. He is the author of the Digitality Podcast, available on Podcasts/Rádio Renascença Multimédia since March 2024.
