About the Author :
Anoop Shukla is presently working as an assistant professor in the department of mechanical engineering at Amity University, Noida, India. He completed his MTech with distinction from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI) Kanpur. Dr. Shukla received his Ph.D. from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, in 2017. His areas of research are energy conversion and thermal management, combined power cycles, cogeneration, multigeneration, biofuels, fuel cells, and gas turbine cooling. He has published four edited books, seventy-five SCI/Scopus-indexed journals, and conference papers of high repute. He has guided one Ph.D. and fifteen dissertations at PG levels. Currently, he is guiding three Ph.D. and two M.Tech. students. He has also authored book chapters with highly acclaimed publishers, including CRC, Springer, and Material Research Forum. Dr. Shukla has attended and organized several international conferences and symposiums. He is an active reviewer for various highly reputed international journals, including the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments, Applied Sciences, and Energy. Rakesh Kumar Phanden completed his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the U.P. Technical University, Lucknow, India and M.Tech. in Integrated Product Design and Manufacturing from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, G.J.U. of Science and Technology, Hisar, India. He completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, India in 2012. He has done his post decorate from Cranfield University UK. He is currently working as Sessional Academic with Institute of Innovation, Science and Sustainability, Federation University Australia, VIC, Australia and as Professor with Sat Kabir Institute of Technology & Management, Bahadurgarh, Haryana, India. He is also associated with quality assurance department of Institute of Health & Management, North Melbourne VIC, Australia. He has chaired many technical sessions in conferences and reviewed articles for many SCI and Scopus indexed international journals of repute. He has organized various international conferences namely ICNDME 2014, FLAME 2018, FLAME 2020, FLUTE 2021, FLUTE 2023 and FLAME 2022 in the capacity of organizing secretory. He has fifteen years of teaching experience at private and government institutes and universities in India and abroad. He has contributed more than 100 papers at the national/international levels including SCI journals. His current areas of interest include nature inspired optimization algorithms for various mechanical engineering problems, cyber-physical systems, energy-aware modelling of systems, MEMS, Microfluidic Devices, Micromanufacturing, manufacturing systems, production scheduling, integration of process planning and scheduling and product design and manufacturing, industrial production, welding techniques. He has received International Travel Grant from DST to visit the USA and he has visited London, Singapore, Turkey, Dubai, and many African countries for various research work in collaboration with Amity University. J. Paulo Davim is a Full Professor at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He is also distinguished as honorary professor in several universities/colleges/institutes in China, India and Spain. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering, MSc in Mechanical Engineering (materials and manufacturing processes) and Mechanical Engineering degree (5 years), from the University of Porto (FEUP), the Aggregate title (Full Habilitation) from the University of Coimbra and the DSc (Higher Doctorate) from London Metropolitan University. He is Fellow (FIET) of IET-London and Eur Ing by Engineers Europe FEANI-Brussels. He is also Senior Chartered Engineer by the Portuguese Institution of Engineers with an MBA and Specialist titles in Engineering and Industrial Management as well as in Metrology. He has more than 35 years of teaching and research experience in Manufacturing, Materials, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, with special emphasis in Machining, Tribology & Surface Engineering. He has also interest in Design, Management, Sustainability, Industry 5.0, Engineering Education and Higher Education for Sustainability. He has guided large numbers of postdoc, PhD and master’s students as well as has coordinated and participated in several financed research projects. He has received several scientific awards and honors. He has worked as evaluator of projects for ERC-European Research Council and other international research agencies as well as examiner of PhD thesis for many universities in different countries. He is the Editor in Chief of several international journals, book Series Editor and Scientific Advisory for many conferences. Presently, he is an Editorial Board member of 30 international journals and acts as reviewer for more than 200. In addition, he has also published as editor (and co-editor) more than 300 books and as author (and co-author) more than 15 books, 100 book chapters and 600 articles in journals and conferences (WoS/h-index 70+/17000+ citations, SCOPUS/h-index 79+/21500+ citations, Google Scholar/h-index 99+/36500+ citations). He was listed in World´s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University study 2023 (Ranked at 1 National Ranking / 2112 World Ranking single year 2022). Also, he was listed in Research.com ranking 2024 (Ranked at 1 National Ranking / 82 World Ranking in field of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Ranked at 7 National Ranking / 1400 World Ranking in field of Materials Science). 2022/23/24 - Research.com Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering/Materials Science in Portugal Leader Award Highly Ranked Scholar by ScholarGPS.
