Bijoy Kumar Sarkar is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Livestock Products Technology, College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, R. K. Nagar, West Tripura, India since 2011. He obtained B. V. Sc. & A. H. degree from College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Selesih, Aizawl, Mizoram, India in 2008. He did his M. V. Sc. in Livestock Products Technology from Division of Livestock Products Technology, Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly, India. in the year 2010. He cleared ICAR-ASRB NET in the major/broad discipline of Animal Production in 2010 and also cleared the ICAR’s All India Examination, ICAR (SRF) in 2016-17. He achieved Ph.D. in Livestock Products Technology from Department of Livestock Products Technology, College of Veterinary Science, AAU, Khanapara, Guwahati, India. The author is actively engaged in research, extension and teaching in undergraduate level. So far, he has published more than 25 research paper, review and popular articles in reputed national and international journals. He has published two booklet for farmers and also organized several training programme for farmers. He has also published five book chapter.
