William Truesdell William H. Truesdell is President and founder of The Management Advantage, Inc., a personnel management consulting firm. Prior to starting The Management Advantage, Truesdell spent more than 20 years in management with American Telephone and Teleraph in human resources and operations. He is an expert on the subjects of personnel practices, employee handbooks, equal opportunity, and performance management programs. Truesdell is the author of five self-published titles, including Secrets of Affirmative Action, Easy Employee Supervision, and Secrets of Investigating Discrimination. Truesdell is past president of the Northern California Employment Round Table, a liaison group for employers and the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing. He also served for five years on the National Workplace Diversity Committee within the Society for Human Resource Management.
