Will GeigerWill Geiger was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska. He is of non-Native descent and was adopted by the L’uknax̱.ádi clan. He began studying Tlingit grammar and oral literature in 2012 at the University of Alaska Southeast. His undergraduate (Universit of Alaska Southeast, 2014) and master’s (Alaska Pacific University, 2016) theses focused centrally on the Dauenhauers’ work with the Tlingit language. He joined the staff of Sealaska Heritage Institute in 2017 to transcribe and translate recordings of Tlingit interviews and oral narratives.
