Vinay Aseri
Mr. Vinay Aseri is an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics at the Narnarayan Shastri Institute of Technology – Institute of Forensic Sciences & Cyber Security (NSIT-IFSCS), affiliated with the National Forensic Science University (NFSU), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. He holds a Postgraduate degree in Forensic Science and a Diploma in Photography in Forensic Science. He completed his higher education in Forensic Science from India’s pioneering National Security & Police University. Mr. Aseri’s research interests focus on Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence for National Security. He has an impressive record of publications in Scopus-indexed and SCI (Q1) journals, along with multiple book chapters published by leading national and international publishers. He has edited Scopus-indexed books with reputed publishers such as Elsevier and CRC Press and continues to contribute to ongoing research projects and international collaborations in digital forensics and cybersecurity. He has served as an Researcher with the NIA and IIT-Madras and was selected as a member of the United Nations Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) – First Internet Governance Forum, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). He has presented his work at 28+ national and international conferences and workshops and actively contributes to academic and policy discussions in technology governance and national security. Beyond research and teaching, he also serves as a reviewer for several reputable journals, including MDPI, Springer, Elsevier, IntechOpen, River Publishers, and IJBPS. He is an active member of professional bodies such as the Internet Society (ISOC) Delhi & Mumbai Chapters, ACM, and IEEE.
