Surinder Sood, Ph.D., specializes in the design verification and validation of hybrid systems, earning his doctorate from The University of Auckland, New Zealand. With two decades of experience, he has primarily focused on verifying hardware compoents for system-on-chip (SOC) implementations, employing diverse verification techniques. His research interests span formal verification of digital and hybrid systems, including significant contributions to security vulnerability verification in digital hardware and performance estimation of SOCs during SOC verification.

Throughout his career, Surinder has collaborated with prestigious organizations such as Intel, AMD, Samsung Electronics, ST Microelectronics, and SanDisk. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at ARM, he also holds the esteemed title of Senior Member of the IEEE-Circuit and Systems Society.
