Terry KiddTerry Kidd is a seasoned higher education leader with over fifteen years of professional experience in workforce development, curriculum management, and faculty and organization development, and educational technology innovation. As college faculty, r. Kidd, taught courses in the discipline Management Information Systems and Training and Development. He have given numerous workshops and seminars on topics related to educational innovation, technology and society, social science research methods and computing/informatics. He holds a Ph.D. from the Texas A&M University and graduate degrees in instructional technology (M.Ed.) and information systems (M.Sc.) from the University of Houston. Dr. Kidd holds national level credentials in change management, workforce development and is a State of Texas credentialed mediator. Currently, Dr. Kidd serves as Dean of the Division of Extended Learning at the Houston Community College, the largest continuing education operation in the nation. Dr. Kidd has published over 15 research papers in scholarly journals including Journal of Educational Media and Hypermedia, International Journal of E-Learning, Educational Technology, Journal of Science Education and Technology, and the International Journal of Information Technology Project Management, to name a few. Further Dr. Kidd has written seven books related to technology management, social informatics, online learning, and adult learning in the digital age. He has been quoted on Amazon.com and featured on ABC News as an expert on the social and ethical ramifications of computer hacking.
