Stephan RocheStephan Roche is an ICREA Research Professor working at the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2) and at the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST). He leads the 'Theoretical and Computational Nanoscience' group whih focuses on the understanding of quantum transport phenomena from the molecular to the mesoscopic scales with particular focus on spin dynamics in Topological (and Dirac) Matter. In 2009, he was awarded the prestigious Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel prize from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (Germany).
