Shilong WangBrief bio (150 words or less): Prof. Shilong Wang is a Distinguished Professor of Chongqing University. He has actively engaged in the research fields of advanced manufacturing technology for long. He overcame the difficult problems in precision grining of complex modified gears, and developed a series of gear machining processes and equipment. He was awarded the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Second Prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award. Owing to his academic achievements and reputation, Prof. Wang was appointed as a board member of the eighth Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, and was awarded the Distinguished Professor of Yangtze River Scholar, the Distinguished Young Scholar for National Science Fund.
