About the Author :
Brief bio (150 words or less): Prof. Shilong Wang is a Distinguished Professor of Chongqing University. He has actively engaged in the research fields of advanced manufacturing technology for long. He overcame the difficult problems in precision grinding of complex modified gears, and developed a series of gear machining processes and equipment. He was awarded the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Second Prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award. Owing to his academic achievements and reputation, Prof. Wang was appointed as a board member of the eighth Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, and was awarded the Distinguished Professor of Yangtze River Scholar, the Distinguished Young Scholar for National Science Fund. Moreover, he serves as the leader of the Innovation Team of the Ministry of Education since 2009. Prof. Guolong Li is a Distinguished Professor of Chongqing University and has gained an excellent reputation in the gear manufacturing for more than 20 years. Prof. Li has been long-term research experience on the precision machining technology and equipment, intelligent manufacturing technology and system etc. For his achievements, he served as chief expert of national key R&D projects and Secretary-General of Chongqing Mechanical Engineering Society. He published more than 100 academic papers, and won 1 second prize of national scientific and technological progress and 2 first prize of provincial and ministerial level, etc. Dr Chi Ma is an Associate Professor of Chongqing University and has long been involved in research on precision machining technology and equipment and intelligent manufacturing technology and systems. Dr Ma has served as an Expert at the Ministry of Science and Technology, is a Senior member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, a Peer Review Expert at the National Natural Science Foundation Committee, and a Member of the Digital Twin Professional Committee of the Eighth Council of the Chinese Graphics Society. He has published more than 70 academic papers.
