As well as teaching for many years on the master's courses in Health Promotion in the UK and several countries in Africa, she was more recently Course Leader for the BSc (Hons) Public Health, hich is a 'top-up' degree, delivered in Zambia. A sociologist by background, Sally's interests are in women's health, community involvement in health, and the politics of health and development, particularly in relation to Africa, where she has lived and worked.
