Mikko HokkaProfessor Hokka is Head of the Engineering Materials Science M.Sc. program at Tempere University in Finland. His research focuses on dynamic behavior of materials, especially the relationship between structure of the material and its dynamic propertis and behavior. He leads the multiscale mechanics of materials research group (IMPACT) at Tampere University, has published 80+ publications in international journals, and has been an elected member of the Governing Board of the DYMAT organization since 2016.
