Kazuhiro HonoKazuhiro Hono is President of the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) in Tsukuba, Japan. He joined NIMS in 1995 and has
served as a NIMS Fellow, Director of the Research Center for Magnetic and Spintronic Materials, and Executive Vice resident of NIMS. He obtained his BS from Tohoku University in 1982 and his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 1988. His research has centered on the microstructure-property relationships of metallic materials, particularly magnetic materials. He served as Principal Editor of Scripta Materialia and Acta Materialia from 2000 to 2022. Hono is a Fellow of TMS and of the Magnetics Society of Japan. Read More Read Less
