Karolin FrankenbergerKarolin Frankenberger is a full professor in strategy and innovation at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, where she is also director of the Institute of Management and Strategy and the academic director of the Executive MBA. Prior to her acaemic career, Karolin worked for seven years at McKinsey & Company. Owing to her award-winning research, which focuses on (digital) business transformation, business model innovation, ecosystems and circular economy, she has recently been named Thinker of the Month by Thinkers50, the world's foremost resource for sharing leading management ideas of our age. Her publications appear regularly in top-tier academic and practitioner-oriented journals and her book The Business Model Navigator is known as a standard reference in business model innovation literature.
