Jo Ann SmithJo Ann Smith has been involved with computational thinking and computer programming for nearly 40 years - as the owner of a computer training company, a professor of computer science, a computer consultant in higher education and an employee of AT&T ell Labs. She has authored 19 college level computer science text books. Now retired, she has been teaching computer programming to 3rd thru 6th grade students at her local library in Batavia, Illinois.
