Jane ThielemannJane Thielemann is an Associate Professor of Education in the College of Public Service at the University of Houston-Downtown, where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Reading, Language Arts, and Educational Psychology. She received anEd.D. from the University of Houston Main Campus and has been a member of the faculty at UH-D for 15 years. As a teacher, consultant, and author, Dr. Thielemann has written numerous articles on teacher education, minority student enrollment in higher education, and business-education partnerships. She also has authored a textbook for teacher certification, Preparing for Teacher Certification in English, Language Arts and Reading, grades 8-12 (2006). She currently resides in Clear Lake, Texas.
