She has worked at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Il. and Northwestern Memorial Hosptal, Chicago, Il. where she worked as the Research Dietitian at the Diabetes in Pregnancy Center. She received her Bachelor Degree in Medical Dietetics at University of Illinois at Chicago and her Master's Degree in Food and Nutrition at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Il. She is working as a consulting dietitian seeing patients and working with corporations. Her hobbies include: reading voraciously, exercising, traveling, sewing, socializing with family and friends, and exploring ethnic foods.
