Heidi Stephens

I’m Heidi Stephens, a British romcom author who writes big feelings, sharp dialogue and happily-ever-afters that feel like they were worth waiting for. I write stories about ordinary people stumbling into extraordinary love - usually while making complete mess of things along the way. My novels are packed with humour, heart, and the comforting belief that it’s never too late to start again, or fall in love in deeply inconvenient circumstances.

When I’m not plotting unexpected encounters or engineering emotional chaos for my characters, you’ll find me working for an ad agency in London, or traipsing through the countryside with my husband Pip and our Labrador Mabel. I believe laughter is essential, love is rarely tidy, and romance works best with a healthy dose of realism and warmth.
