Fabio MirandaDr. Fabio Miranda is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), where he is also involved with the Electronic Visualization Laboratory (EVL). Dr. Miranda's research focuses on developing nnovative techniques for the interactive visual analysis of large-scale datasets. He combines methods from visualization, data management, geographic information systems (GIS), machine learning, and computer graphics. His primary application area is urban visual analytics, aiming to address various city-related challenges, including those in transportation, mobility, climate, air and noise pollution, and urban accessibility.
