Edward EbertEdward S. Ebert II has worked in education for 33 years. He taught with the Texas City Independent School District for eight years. Since earning his doctorate in Philosophical and Psychological Foundations of Education, he has worked extensively wit college students and classroom teachers on the study of creative thinking as it applies to cognitive processing and its application to the classroom setting. He is the author of The Cognitive Spiral: Creative Thinking and Cognitive Processing, an original model of thought processing, as well as a dozen books ranging from textbooks in introduction to education and science education to teacher resource books to an examination of the institution of education. Dr. Ebert has lectured around the world and spent also spent a semester teaching science education and educational psychology at Shanghai International Studies University, Shanghai, P.R. China.
