Deepak ParasharDr. Deepak Parashar earned his PhD in 2016 from the National Institute of Immunology and Jaipur National University, focusing on the role of SOX4 in cervical cancer. He then joined Dr. Chaluvally’s lab as a postdoctoral fellow at the Medical College f Wisconsin, where he investigated microRNAs like miR551b in breast and ovarian cancers and screened anti-cancer drugs for ovarian treatment. In 2022, he became an Assistant Professor in Dr. Janz’s lab, researching immuno-oncology in multiple myeloma (MM). His current work explores microRNAs and transcription factors like FOXM1 in the tumor immune microenvironment to enhance immunotherapies. Additionally, he studies drug resistance mechanisms and develops nanotechnology-based targeted drug delivery systems for preclinical models.
