Chow Hou Wee Chow-Hou Wee is currently Professor of Strategy and Marketing as well as Head of the Marketing and International Business Division at the Nanyang Business School in Nanyang Technological University. He is an Honorary Professor of the Faculty of Mnagement of Xiamen University (China) and the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman of Malaysia.A former Merit, Colombo Plan, and Commonwealth scholar, Professor Wee received his MBA and Ph.D. from the Ivey School of Business Administration, the University of Western Ontario, in Canada. He was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 1995, the Public Service Medal in 1999, and the Public Service Star in 2006 by the President of Singapore. On the corporate front, Professor Wee has served as a Board Director in various statutory boards and corporate entities, including HTL International Holdings Ltd., National Productivity Board, Telecommunications Authority of Singapore, Neptune Orient Lines Ltd., and China Precision Technology Ltd. He is also a judge for the Annual Business Times-DHL Business Awards.Professor Wee has over 300 publications in various international, regional, and local journals and conference proceedings, and is the author/senior author of several bestselling books.
