She holds a bachelor of science degre from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois; is experienced in clinic billing; trained in diagnosis coding at Triton College in River Grove, Illinois and online AHIMA coding courses; has experience in outpatient hospital coding as a full-time coder for Hospital Sisters Health Systems in O’Fallon, Illinois; is a member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and is a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS). Carole has been an educator for more than 36 years and has successfully communicated in an easy-to-understand manner. She has been trained in teaching students who learn outside the norm.
