Biswajit PaulBiswajit Paul is presently working at the PG and Research Department of Commerce of University of Gour Banga, Malda, West Bengal, India as an Assistant Professor. He did his undergraduate, post- graduate studies and Ph.D. (research studies) from the niversity of Calcutta. He has teaching experience of more than fifteen years in different colleges and universities. He worked as Guest Faculty at the Department of Commerce of Vivekananda College, Thakurpukur, Kolkata; Panihati Mahavidyalaya, Sodepur, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal; and Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College, Kolkata. After that he worked as Contractual Whole Time Teacher at the Department of Commerce of Vivekananda College, Thakurpukur, Kolkata. He also worked as Coordinator and Contractual Whole Time Teacher at the Department of Commerce (Post-Graduation under Calcutta University) of Naba Ballygunge Mahavidyalaya, Kolkata. He also worked as a Visiting Faculty in Sikkim Manipal University (DE), Vidyasagar University (DE) and IGNOU. Dr. Paul has ten years of research experience in the field of Developmental Economics, Macroeconomic Issues, Finance and Rural/Urban Development and allied areas. His academic and research contributions include the publications of more than eighty research articles and chapters in renowned National and International journals, books, and conference proceedings. He achieved three best paper awards in International seminars. Apart from this, he presented many research papers in different National and International conferences, seminars, and symposiums.
