Ashish Kumar SanaAshish Kumar Sana is presently working as a Professor in the Department of Commerce, University of Calcutta. He was the former Head, Department of Commerce and Former Director, University of Calcutta - Calcutta Stock Exchange Centre of Excellence in inancial Markets (CUCSE-CEFM). He was the editor of the Research Journal, Business Studies (UGC --- CARE Listed Journal Group I) published by the Department of Commerce, University. He was the Associate Editor of the Research Journal, Indian Accounting Review published by the Indian Accounting Association Research Foundation, Kolkata. Prof. Sana has more than 22 years of experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Commerce and Management in different colleges and Universities. In addition to his academic experience, he has over 5 years of administrative experience in the fields of Accounting and Auditing. He has authored more than ten books in the field of Financial Markets, Financial Management, Auditing Business Communication and other related fields. His research interests are Accounting Theory, Capital Markets, Microfinance, Small Business, Women Empowerment and Social Development. Under his supervision, ten scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degree while 14 students have been awarded M.Phil. degree from the University of Calcutta. He has published more than 60 articles in different journals and edited books in national and international repute. He has presented several research papers national and international level seminars and conferences India and abroad. He has acted as the chairperson in different seminars and conferences and delivered keynote addresses in many international and national conferences and seminars. He has completed three UGC research projects on Capital Market, Small Business and Women Empowerment. He has been received best papers from different conferences from India and abroad.
