About the Author :
Leo M. Hill is a first-time author writing about Earth 250 years in the future. Growing up in Maine, he attended Hebron Academy and received a scholarship. While at Hebron Academy, he fell in love with literature. Hill went on to Maine Maritime Academy and earned a bachelor's degree in marine engineering, with a minor in engineering science. He spent twenty-three years in the US Merchant Marine as a member of American Maritime Officers. After sailing the globe, he retired as a Chief Engineer licensed with the US Coast Guard, unlimited tonnage and horsepower. Later he served as Director of Facilities Management for a local housing authority for nineteen years. Now retired, he loves writing, cooking, clamming, biking, carpentry, gardening, golfing, fishing, hunting, and sitting down to read a good book. He and his wife Lisa live on the coast of Maine and winter in Florida. They have two beautiful daughters, Stephanie and Allison, who enrich their lives.
