About the Book

Why do some leaders succeed at building lasting worship ministries while others fail? In the Five Faders, Dave Helmuth explores the process of development and breaks down the lies, myths, and traps keeping you from being the fruitful leader God desires. Using decades of evidence-based insights, Dave reveals how understanding what motivates you is the first step in becoming a Five Faders Leader.

With our framework for becoming the best Artist, Shepherd, Priest, Educator, and Producer, you'll learn to slide each Fader up or down as Love requires you in each moment of leadership. Through relatable stories, insight gained from years of coaching worship teams in every kind of setting, and step-by-step advice, readers learn how to become the healthy expression of their Fader, build a culture of honor on your team to bring out the best in everyone, and be the most effective leader in the ever-changing landscape of ministry. Whether you're looking to relieve frustration, increase confidence, or outlast change, this book offers the tools to become a Five Faders Leader.

Are you feeling a bit disconnected from the current worship music scene? Do you long for a more engaging, vibrant atmosphere where teams truly enjoy working together? Have you noticed some teams lacking that spiritual depth? Do you wish your team would be more confident and comfortable? Do you say, "I wish I had known what the sermon was about sooner because I have a perfect song for that!"

If so, you're ready to build a Five Faders team!

About the Author :
Who am I and what do I do?In a recent devotional time, I was led to read Ephesians 4. I'vebeen enjoying The Passion Translation and the way the classicverse twelve was written seemed to encapsulate what I'mabout. The typical translation reads "to equip the saints for thework of ministry" (referring to why the gifts of the Spirit aregiven). But listen to how TPT says it."And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holybelievers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do thisthey will enlarge and build up the body of Christ."Boom! My calling is to "nurture and prepare" believers so thatthey can do their own works of ministry, resulting in the bodyof Christ being built up.No matter the expression, I am singularly focused on nurturingand preparing believers. This includes: - Writing books and blogs(https: //www.adlibmusic.com/worship-fertilizer, https: //www.adlibmusic.com/books)- Leading Ad Lib Music(https: //www.adlibmusic.com/)- Leading the Movimiento Juvenil Encuentros(https: //bit.ly/EncuentrosChurch)- Preparing to lead the Launch 61 Gap Year program(https: //www.thelaunch61.com/)- Being a father to my seven children- Being a husband to HeatherWe get to live in the beautiful mountains of Costa Rica, whereat 5,000 feet, it's 55° to 75° year-round. Rough, I know. Butyou still have to take out the trash.
