About the Book
Sick of the stress, aggravation, and multiple genocides they've had to put up with lately, accidental space hero Cal Carver and his crew set off to start a new life in a distant corner of the galaxy.
Six tedious days of warp-speed and board games later, they arrive in a sector filled with new hope, new opportunities, and new adventures. Too broke to take advantage of any of these things, they are forced to accept a series of increasingly demeaning jobs just to make ends meet.
When one such job leads them to the offices of a sector-wide TV network, Cal signs up to star in smash-hit gameshow, The Hunt, confident of winning the big cash prize.
What he fails to realize is that the show's premise involves him being chased and killed for the amusement of the viewing public and so Cal must run, fight, and occasionally beg for his life as he attempts to win the game, the money, and his freedom.
But in the entire history of the show, no competitor has ever survived The Hunt, and the network will stop at nothing to keep that record intact ...
Featuring unexpected stabbings, maniacal puppets, and a dog with a head like a testicle. Hutchison, and perfect for fans of Guardians of the Galaxy, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and The Golden Girls.

About the Author :
Phil Thron is a classically trained actor who has worked on stage, TV, and behind the microphone for several decades. A voracious reader and a devoted chatterbox, bringing these skills to the world of audiobook narration was a natural evolution, and for several years now, a wonderful obsession. Now, nothing gives him more pleasure than bringing authors' worlds to life and getting listeners to lean in. When he's not recording from his home studio in New Jersey, Phil can be found playing tennis, reading or listening to books, watching movies, spending time with his family, and, perhaps, playing guitar. Badly. Really badly. Don't laugh, it's just an unfortunate truth. Dylan Thomas was born in Swansea, Wales on 27 October 1914. In 1934 his first book of poetry, Eighteen Poems appeared, followed by Twenty-five Poems in 1936, Deaths and Entrances in 1946 and in 1952 his final volume, Collected Poems. He also published many short stories, wrote filmscripts, broadcast stories and talks, did a series of lecture tours in the United States and wrote Under Milkwood, the radio play.During his fourth lecture tour of the United States in 1953, a few days after his 39th birthday, he collapsed in his New York hotel and died on November 9th at St. Vincent's Hospital. His body was sent back to Laugharne, Wales, where his grave is marked by a simple wooden cross. In June 1994, his wife, Caitlin Thomas, died in Italy, where she had spent most of the years of her life after the death of Dylan Thomas. Her body is buried next to his.
Cody Roberts is a classically trained performer who received his BFA from Southern Oregon University. On stage, Cody has performed everything from Shakespeare to contemporary works. One of his newest passions is making movies with his friends; their first feature is A Promise of Time Travel. He brings to his recordings a truly engaging voice, with an obvious love and passion for the art of storytelling.
