About the Author :
Phil Thron is a classically trained actor who has worked on stage, TV, and behind the microphone for several decades. A voracious reader and a devoted chatterbox, bringing these skills to the world of audiobook narration was a natural evolution, and for several years now, a wonderful obsession. Now, nothing gives him more pleasure than bringing authors' worlds to life and getting listeners to lean in. When he's not recording from his home studio in New Jersey, Phil can be found playing tennis, reading or listening to books, watching movies, spending time with his family, and, perhaps, playing guitar. Badly. Really badly. Don't laugh, it's just an unfortunate truth. Ian Putnam has many years of experience working in the arts as a teacher, actor, writer, painter, singer, and musician. He is passionate about books in general, including reading for pleasure and research, and especially narrating audiobooks. Ian has over twelve years of middle and high school teaching experience in the arts, and worked professionally as a performer in Los Angeles for seven years. He has played in several bands and recorded three albums, with musical interests including jazz, classical, rock, and musical theater. He currently leads his jazz band as its singer and enjoys playing classical piano and spending lots of meaningful time with his wife, daughter, and pets in Santa Barbara.
