About the Author :
Mohd Mohsin is an assistant professor at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India where he has been serving since 2014. He holds a PhD from Hamdard University, New Delhi, India. In 2009, he qualified the National Eligibility Test of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and Junior Research Fellowships of the Indian Council of Medical Research. Specializing in nano-biotechnology, molecular biology, and metabolic engineering, his research focuses on genetically encoded fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET)-based nanosensors for healthcare and cellular environmental monitoring. He has presented his research work at various national and international conferences and published more than 30 research papers in journals of international repute. He additionally has two patents approved and put into publication. He received a high Impact Factor (>5) publication award in 2014. His contributions to the scientific community have been recognized with the Young Scientist Award in 2015 and an innovative research award in 2017 from the Government of India. He also serves as an editorial member and reviewer for several journals. His career has been marked by various awards, scholarships, and fellowships, highlighting his dedication and expertise in nanobiotechnology research and education. Mohd Mohsin: published more than 40 research papers in journals of international repute and book chapters. He additionally has 02 patents approved and put into publication and one patent is filed. Neha Soleja is the research associate of the Indian Council of Medical Research at the Department of Biosciences of Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. She earned her PhD thesis in 2020 on the "Construction of a family of FRET-based nanosensors to monitor the flux of metal ions" in the Department of Biosciences of Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi, India. Dr. Soleja's research primarily revolves around the design and implementation of genetically encoded nanosensors to enable the real-time quantification of metabolites at the subcellular level. Her work has resulted in the publication of 14 scholarly articles in prestigious international journals. She has two patents to her credit. Dr. Soleja possesses a diverse skill set, encompassing various cutting-edge techniques in biochemical, biophysical, and molecular biology research. She has also participated in several workshops, seminars, and conferences, where she has presented her research findings and received awards and recognition for her work. With her multidisciplinary skill set and passion for advancing knowledge, she remains at the forefront of research in the field of nanobiotechnology.
