Literatursoziologische Fragen sind seit einiger Zeit wieder ins Blickfeld der germanistischen Forschung gerückt, nicht zuletzt vor dem Hintergrund der gesellschaftlichen, ökonomischen und technologischen Entwicklungen, die die Literaturbranche grundlegend verändern. Die Kinder- und Jugendliteratur ist Teil dieser Veränderungen und zugleich schon immer ein Feld, das germanistische Konzepte von literarischem Wert, von "l'art pour l'art" und Autorschaft vor besondere Herausforderungen stellt. Serielle Erzählungen entstehen aus der Arbeit von Autor: innenkollektiven, im Bilderbuch verwischt die Grenze zwischen Autor: innen und Illustrator: innen. Die unter Erwachsenen geführte literarische Kommunikation öffnet sich, wenn junge Menschen auf YouTube, Bookstagram und TikTok zu Kritiker: innen werden und damit auch die Vorherrschaft erwachsener Literaturkritik und Gatekeeper: innen unterlaufen. Und nicht zuletzt schreiben und publizieren Kinder und Jugendliche auf digitalen Plattformen selbst.Der geplante Band widmet sich einerseits in grundlegenden Beiträgen mit dem kinder- und jugendliterarischen Feld, exploriert Konzepte von Autorschaft und beschäftigt sich in Fallstudien mit Autor: inneninszenierungen in historischer und aktueller Perspektive. Weitere Kapitel beschäftigen sich mit Texten und Genres, in denen das Schreiben und die Schrift selbst thematisiert wird, sowie mit digitalen Schreibpraxen.

Ute Dettmar ist Professorin für Kinder- und Jugendliteraturwissenschaft und Direktorin des Instituts für Jugendbuchforschung, Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. Dr. Lena Hoffmann ist Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Jugendbuchforschung, Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. Christine Lötscher ist Professorin für Populäre Literaturen und Medien mit Schwerpunkt Kinder- und Jugendmedien am ISEK - Populäre Kulturen der Universität Zürich.
