Einhergehend mit der Untergliederung der Hochschulausbildung in Bachelor-, Master- und Doktoranden-Studiengange erscheint es deshalb zweckmassig, gezielt fur Master- und Doktoranden-Studiengange fortgeschrittene Verfahren der multivariaten Analyse in einem einfuhrenden Lehrtext zusammenzufassen.
Die in dem vorliegenden Lehrbuch behandelten Verfahren der multivariaten Analyse sind:
- Nichtlineare Regressionsanalyse
- Strukturgleichungsanalyse
- Konfirmatorische Faktorenanalyse
- Auswahlbasierte Conjoint-Analyse
- Neuronale Netze
- Multidimensionale Skalierung (MDS)
- Korrespondenzanalyse
Die Darstellungen der Verfahren sind so konzipiert, dass geringst mogliche mathematische Vorkenntnisse zum Verstandnis erforderlich sind und jedes Kapitel fur sich eigenstandig gelesen werden kann. Nach der intuitiven Erlauterung der Vorgehensweise der einzelnen Verfahren werden diese mit Hilfe eines ausfuhrlichen Fallbeispiels sowie unter Verwendung der Statistik-Software IBM SPSS und teilweise auch mit MS Excel und der Conjoint-Software von Sawtooth gerechnet und interpretiert. Dabei wurde Wert darauf gelegt, dass alle Rechenschritte fur den Anwender nachvollziehbar sind, und es werden Anwendungsempfehlungen gegeben. Auf der Internetseite multivariate.de bieten wir weitere Serviceleistungen, und von Dozenten konnen die Abbildungen angefordert werden.

In der 2. Auflage wurden alle Kapitel uberarbeitet. Dabei wurde das Kapitel zur Auswahlbasierten (Choice Based) Conjoint-Analyse neu konzipiert, im Besonderen wurde es um die Gestaltung von Erhebungsdesigns und die Moglichkeit einer Durchfuhrung mit SPSS erweitert."
