With the increasing demand for cleaner technologies and eco-friendly materials, there is a pressing need for a comprehensive resource that highlights the latest research and developments in this field. By compiling cutting-edge knowledge and insights from experts in the field, this book aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice and facilitate the adoption of sustainable materials and processes across various industries. One of the key features of this book is its interdisciplinary approach, bringing together contributions from researchers and practitioners across fields such as materials science, green chemistry, environmental engineering, and sustainability studies. This book will provide a comprehensive overview of the latest advancements in green materials science and their potential applications in environmental sustainability. It covers a wide range of topics, including the synthesis of green materials and their utilization in environmental remediation, different process for sustainable innovation, and sustainable manufacturing processes. Additionally, the book explores the role of green materials in environmental risk assessment and promoting circular economy principles. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of collaboration between academia, industry, and policymakers in driving innovation and fostering a sustainable future. Overall, the book aims to serve as a valuable reference for scientists, engineers, and students interested in advancing green chemistry and sustainable materials science.

About the Author :
Dr. Chandra Mohan is a distinguished faculty member with over 15 years of teaching and research experience, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Chemistry at K R Mangalam University, Gurugram. He earned his Ph.D. from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India. His research interests include transition metal chemistry, chemical and biosensor applications, and polymer nanocomposites. Dr. Mohan has published over 65 research and review papers in peer-reviewed journals, authored 10 books, contributed 15 book chapters, and holds 10 international/national patents. His recent edited volumes, in IGI Global Publishers, Cambridge Scholars Publishing, UK, and Elsevier, showcase his expertise. He was honored with the Advanced Materials Award from IAAM, Sweden, for his outstanding research contributions. Dr. Mohan serves on the editorial boards of various international journals and is a member of several scientific societies, including ACS, RSC, SACI, ECS (USA), ISCA, and ICC. He was the convener of the International Conference (AMGSE-2024). Dr. Neeraj Kumari did her Ph. D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Delhi in 2018. She has presented her work at many international and national conferences where she has been awarded two times for giving the best oral presentation and for her research work (Dr. Upadhyayula V. Rao Memorial Award, 2017 and Professor V. Panda Rango Rao Award, 2015, in Annual Convention Chemists). She is a member of the Indian Science Congress and the American Chemical Society. She has a keen interest in different areas of research. She has guided many B. Sc. students to complete their project work during her Ph. D. work. She did her post-graduation from Guru Jhambheshwar of Science and Technology, Hisar in Inorganic Chemistry. Dr. Kumari qualified for CSIR - UGC NET in June 2011 and CSIR - JRF in December 2011. She has published 30 research publications including research articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings. She has also published two patents and edited two books. Prof. Mark A Benvenuto is a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Detroit Mercy, in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry and a Fellow of the American Chemical Society. His research thrusts span a wide array of subjects, but include the synthesis of novel materials for water remediation, plus the use of energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy to determine trace elemental compositions of: aquatic and land-based plant matter, food and dietary supplements, and medieval and ancient artifacts. He was the department chairperson for 18 years, during which time he led the hiring searches of almost his entire faculty. Benvenuto received a B.S. in chemistry from the Virginia Military Institute, and after several years as a lieutenant in the United States Army, a PhD. in inorganic chemistry from the University of Virginia. After a post-doctoral fellowship at the Pennsylvania State University, he joined the faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy in 1993. Asha Anish Madhavan is currently Associate Professor and Program Leader in the Department of Engineering at Amity University, Dubai. She has done her masters in Polymer Chemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University, followed by her PhD in Nanotechnology from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, India. She started her career with Defence Research Development Organization were she was a part of the propellant division prestigious Akash Missile Project. Later her interest in Research and Development drove her to the corporate giant, Hindustan Unilever Limited, India. Before joining Amity University, Dr. Asha worked with Abu Dhabi University, UAE. She has published more than 50 research papers in different refereed international journals, conferences and book chapters with nearly 1000 citations. She is also an active reviewer for several international journals on topics related to his research interests. She has been invited as a speaker in several national and international conferences. Her current research interest includes developing novel nanomaterials and its applications in Environmental remediation, forensic science and energy storage.
