Review :
5.0 out of 5 stars. Eye opening. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on June 17, 2025 I missed the small print and didn't realise the book was aimed at woman. With that said, I found it very eye opening. I am a white male so this book isn't aimed at me but I can still relate to many issues faced. The book provides a great insight into our superpowers and embracing our late diagnosis. A thoroughly enjoyable read. 5.0 out of 5 stars. A Powerful, Validating Guide for Neurodivergent Women & BIPOC Reviewed in the United States on July 12, 2025 I was really excited to read this book. I'm female, ADHD, and high-functioning autistic. I was diagnosed with ADHD over 20 years ago, but only recently connected the dots about autism. After a couple of months of not being able to speak - without realizing I'd gone nonverbal - I finally understood that I'm a high-masking, high-functioning autistic person. This realization turned so many lights on when I looked back at my life. I'm sure a lot of people go through this kind of awakening. For me, this book was incredibly healing. Even though I didn't initially know what BIPOC meant, I now understand it refers to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color - and this book helped expand my awareness around how late diagnosis shows up differently across cultures. That perspective is so important and so underrepresented in the neurodivergent space. While this book is deeply helpful for women diagnosed later in life, its strength really lies in amplifying the BIPOC experience - something that urgently needs more visibility. I was raised culturally white, and I'm grateful for the deeper awareness this book gave me. It's made me want to advocate even more for those who aren't getting the support they need. It's hard to be wired differently and feel like you're always in fight, flight, freeze, or fawn - especially in social spaces. This book is full of honest reflections, tips, and deeply validating wisdom from someone who's lived through it. I'll definitely be keeping it in my resource toolkit to help others navigating their own neurospicy journey. 5.0 out of 5 stars. I've even mentioned it to a couple of friends who might find it helpful too. Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2025 With cultural insight, personal stories, and practical tools, it offers validation, clarity, and hope for thriving as a neurodivergent adult. I've even mentioned it to a couple of friends who might find it helpful too.
