This pack of 64 double-sided flashcards teaches a range of key verbs relating to actions. The cards, each measuring 14.8 x 10.5 cm, have been designed with a full-colour photograph of a person carrying out an action on one side, while the reverse shows the Arabic verb in both the past and present tense in the third person masculine and feminine singular forms. The English translation of the verb is also provided, together with a pronunciation guide and the verb form number. The cards may be used by self-taught students to build up their Arabic vocabulary as well as serving as a valuable teaching resource within the classroom.

About the Author :
Dr. Imran Hamza Alawiye is the author of numerous books specialising in teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers, including the highly popular 'Gateway to Arabic' series. He graduated in Arabic from the University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia and went on to obtain his PhD in Arabic from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) within the University of London. He has a wealth of experience in teaching Arabic at various levels to many different age groups.
