Mega Wolf is strong, brave and famous. He loves his super-fast sports car. It has rocket launchers and goes faster than light. People shout "Hurray!" as he passes. But Mega Wolf's most favorite thing is saving the world.
One day Little Red Riding Hood goes for a walk. Suddenly, Mosquito Man attacks her. "Help!!" she screams. Mega Wolf's big ears hear Little Red Riding Hood's screams. He jumps into his Mega Mobile and takes off with a roar. After three skids, a traffic jam, two waterfalls and a mudslide, he arrives to save her.
Later that night after his busy superhero day, Mega Wolf falls asleep in his bed with his special blanket.
"Shhh ... it's a secret!"
Mega City is full of Mega Animals. There is Mega Wolf, who loves sports cars; Mega Bunny, who is always losing things, the elegant Mega Pig; and the cheese-loving Mega Mouse. These are the heroes that keep Mega City safe from the dastardly and bloodthirsty Mosquito Man.

In Mega Wolf, the titular hero lifts weights, showers (still in his costume, with a pink bath mitt), and rescues "the little girl in red" from Mosquito Man... Each of the small, square books ends with a silly secret about the featured hero, begging readers not to tell.
