About the Author :
E. W. Choate Jr. says he is "just somebody that likes to write." From his home atop a mountain, he does most of his writing while sitting on his upper-level screened-in porch, within the forest. He enjoys taking in the views of surrounding mountaintops, a lake far below, and the interactions of all the animals that abound. Good-humored and happy to encourage, first and foremost, he says, "Believe in yourself. You can do much more than you think, or sometimes can even imagine." One of his favorite quotes was by Albert Einstein, who said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge. Because knowledge is limited, yet imagination encircles the world."

Reader's Favorite - 5 star.
"What an opening line! I haven't quite seen one like this before. It's a fun adventure with likable characters that readers will really appreciate . . . The characters are well developed, the dialogue works well, the pacing is on point, and the use of humor throughout it is spot on."
Joshua - Professional Beta-Reader
"A fun, light, fantasy adventure story that should be well received by younger readers. There was a very clear progression of events that should keep even the most distracted reader entertained, especially with the lighter and goofier moments. All of which I enjoyed reading immensely."

Fantastic story!! I read this story with my 8 year old nephew and we both really enjoyed this. Definitely a story I'd like to read to my son when he's old enough!"

This book surprised and drew me in from the first sentence! It was an inspiring and funny book. I really related to Marty having to find courage because like many others courage is something that I often lack. This book made me want to find the courage to do many things in my life! I can't wait for the other books!"
