El Deep Learning (también conocido como aprendizaje estructurado profundo, aprendizaje jerárquico o aprendizaje profundo de máquina) es una rama del aprendizaje automático basada en un conjunto de algoritmos que intentan modelar abstracciones de alto nivel en los datos utilizando habitualmente redes neuronales múltiples. En un caso simple, puede haber dos grupos de neuronas: las que reciben una señal de entrada y las que envían una señal de salida. Cuando la capa de entrada recibe una entrada, pasa una versión modificada de la entrada a la siguiente capa. En una red profunda, hay muchas capas entre la entrada y la salida, permitiendo que el algoritmo utilice múltiples capas de procesamiento, compuestas de múltiples transformaciones lineales y no lineales.El Deep Learning es parte de una familia más amplia de métodos de aprendizaje automático basados en representaciones de aprendizaje de datos.
