About the Book

Our world is changing fast--and those economic, political, technological, and generational differences are stressful. That's why Bruce & Stan wrote God Is in the Small Stuff for Changing Times. The latest entry in the million-selling Small Stuff series, Changing Times addresses the anxieties and uncertainties of the 21st century, reminding you that whatever happens, God is there and ready to help. Basing this book on the Bible's letter of James, Bruce and Stan share wisdom on joy in trials, perseverance, demonstrating faith, handling money, praying--and much more--in their trademark lighthearted yet thought-provoking style. For help and hope, read God Is in the Small Stuff for Changing Times!

About the Author :
When Bruce Bickel didn't make the cut as a stand-up comedian, he became a lawyer, which is a career in which he's considered hilarious. He is active in church ministries and currently serves on the Board of Westmont College. He lives in Central California with his wife, where kids and grandkids surround them. Bruce and Stan have co-authored more than sixty books about the Christian faith, including bestsellers such as God Is in the Small Stuff--and it all matters. They are passionate about presenting the truth of God in a manner that is correct, clear, concise, and casual. Stan Jantz has been involved with content throughout his professional career as a bookseller, publisher, and writer. He resides with his wife in Southern California, where he serves on the board of trustees of Biola University.

Review :

One thing I like about the book is that the authors, Bruce & Stan, put GOD front and center in what they write. The book is loaded with Scripture passages to back up the subject matter they are addressing in the book. For instance they write about such issues as "Being Joyful When Trials Come" which is never easy to do (Chapter 1); "Believe and Don't Doubt," "Keep Money in Perspective," "God Never Changes," "Love Your Neighbor," and 47 other timely topics relating how to more than just survive, but rather to "thrive" in our very difficult world. And at the end of each Chapter they include a few practical tips to consider and implement during your "difficult" times.

If you are seeking a small, easy to read book with some helpful practical tips on how to "thrive" today in our difficult world then this book is for you. --Harold Camron"Harold Says" (03/07/2012)

"Bruce Bickel and Stan Jantz offer an oasis of encouragement for every one of us who feels the effects of this unstable world. Their practical insights based on biblical wisdom are like wafts of fresh air that sift through the confusion of life to reveal the clarity of God as our solid foundation. Don't miss this one!" Erin Keeley Marshall, author of Navigating Route 20-Something and The Daily God Book Bruce and Stan have done it again! God is in the Small Stuff for Changing Times will challenge you, inspire you, and equip you to live faithfully in our upside-down world. This is a wonderful addition to their tremendously successful series. It is perfect for personal devotions or for a gift. Sean McDowell, educator, speaker, and co-author of The GodQuest Sometimes the more frighteningly complex our culture gets, the more we need the profoundly simple. On every page I found the elemental in the elementary, the primal in the primary----something to lighten my step, brighten my face, heighten my vision, and enlighten my path. By the end of book, I didn't want just to make a difference in the world; I wanted to make a different world.
