LOS CUADERNOS POSTUMOS DE ADAEL SELOUK ZALDIVA Poco antes de morir, mi padre me confio nueve cuadernos escritos de su puno y letra con tinta de varios colores, principalmente violeta. Eran nueve partes de un libro titulado Akula: el libro que le habia empujado a la locura. -Son las nueve llaves. -me dijo- Si aprendes a usarlas, podras abrir con ellas las nueve puertas. "Si, claro, lo que tu digas... Nunca los leere!." Este fue el pensamiento que cruzo mi mente, incendiandola, mientras clavaba mis ojos adolescentes en una esquina de la habitacion. Estaba furioso. No aceptaba el hecho de que mi padre se hubiese vuelto loco. Y lo que mas me irritaba era que ahora, en su lecho de muerte, me entregase esos dichosos cuadernos como si de un maravilloso tesoro se tratara. Meti los cuadernos en un cajon y no los saque de alli hasta veintiun anos despues. Solo ahora, que por fin los he leido, he comprendido lo que entonces no podia comprender. Mi padre no se habia vuelto loco. Su aparente locura era en realidad la manifestacion de un estado de conciencia que va mas alla de la mente ordinaria. Era un estado de iluminacion mistica. Los "locos de Dios" viven en un mundo que es incomprensible para la mente humana, porque en ese mundo la mente humana ha sido trascendida. Y Akula es precisamente eso: una fabula mistica que trasciende el tiempo y el espacio, un cuento imposible que describe el extraordinario viaje del alma. Creo que, en el momento de darmelos, mi padre sabia que sus cuadernos no serian publicados hasta muchos anos despues. Sin embargo, eso no parecia preocuparle en absoluto. Vivia en un estado de beatitud tan profunda que el ruido y la locura del mundo no le afectaban lo mas minimo. Y eso me tranquiliza, porque se que me ha perdonado por mi incomprension de entonces. Esa incomprension y ese resentimiento que han tenido encerrada en un cajon, durante veintiun anos, la maravillosa historia de Akula."

About the Author :
Pablo Di Fidio nace en Madrid, Espana, en 1973. Tres circunstancias marcan, como tres sellos indelebles, su infancia: la pobreza, el alcoholismo del padre y la profunda espiritualidad cristiana de la madre. Su temprana experiencia del dolor y un siempre presente anhelo de trascendencia le empujan, ya en la adolescencia, a la busqueda interior, tanto artistica como espiritual. Pero es en su juventud cuando estos intereses maduran. Su busqueda espiritual encuentra finalmente una maravillosa respuesta en las ensenanzas y practicas de meditacion del maestro cristico Paramahansa Yogananda, el padre del Yoga en Occidente. Y su interes por las diferentes expresiones artisticas se concentra en la literatura. En el ano 2002 su primer libro de poesia (La estacion del transito), inspirado en la muerte de su madre, recibe el Premio Genil de Literatura (Diputacion provincial de Granada, Espana). En el ano 2012 su segundo libro de poesia (La palabra nunca escrita) es finalista en el Premio Mundial Fernando Rielo de Poesia Mistica. En el ano 2016 publica El Nino sin nombre, primer libro de la serie Akula, una epica mistica escrita en forma de cuento que describe el extraordinario viaje del alma. Ha vivido en Espana, Inglaterra, India e Italia. Se ha ganado la vida con los trabajos mas variados, sin ninguna relacion con el mundo literario, manteniendo siempre sus dos vocaciones, la meditacion y la escritura, como el verdadero centro de su evolucion interior."
