Excerpt: 33600 by 12568 are the coordinates, from Zebes, of a planet shown only in the Super Metroid comic in Nintendo Power, introduced in Chapter 3: "Back to the Nest." The planet at that location is covered in twisted purple roots that seem to color the entire surface. Samus Aran, wounded from battle on Zebes, instructs Armstrong Houston to direct her ship to this planet instead of Federation HQ, where they meet up with an elderly Old Bird, who tells Armstrong Samus's past and allows Samus to perform a risky technique to heal herself. Blood of the Chozo was an interactive online story run by Nintendo Power Source that ran for three and a half months before ending.
