Excerpt: The Hivakura, also known as The Unaligned or The Manax Meds, are Semi-Matoran who do not have affiliation with any specific Elements, nor do they have a greater balance of Light or Shadow within them, therefore making it impossible to add or remove Light from a Hivakura, furthermore it is impossible for a Hivakura to transform into either a Toa or Turaga as well. The Hivakura were created by the Maker Vakula alongside another Maker whose name is unknown. The following is a list of all known Hivakura: Keithik is a Semi-Matoran on the Southern Islet of Manax Nui. Keithik was created by the Maker Vakula as one of the Hivakura, and inhabited a hidden islet. After being discovered by the Order of Mata Nui, the Hivakura were seen as a threat to the Great Spirit, since they had no balance of Light nor Shadow within them and the capability to create devastatingly powerful weapons. Therefore, the Order set to slaughter the Hivakura. Not wanting his creations to be destroyed, Vakula sealed them in stasis spheres and hid them beneath a Southern Islet called Manax Nui. After being assigned to protect Manax Nui and its' "treasure," the Toa Onuka discovered the Hivakura and the Valuri in Stasis beneath the islet's surface. The Matoran were awakened from stasis shortly thereafter, and given new names because of the memory loss caused by the Matoran Spheres.
