Excerpt: Akyna Nui, formerly known as Tegen Nui, is an island in the Matoran universe. The island possesses a number of Matoran villages, some of them located on two nearby islands which are officially part of Akyna Nui. Little else is known of this island. When the island of Tegen Nui was protected by the Great Anti-Shadow Barrier, it was renamed Akyna Nui, or "great land without shadow." Makuta Venetraze once broke through the barrier and attacked its Toa there with Shadow Leeches, making them into the Toa Kynika. Altronia is a large island in the Altronia Continuity. More soon... A sunset picture Altronia mostly resembles a savanna-desert climate, with gullies, canyons, grasses, cacti, and evergreen bushes dotting its landscape. The sand is a dull reddish yellow-gray, and the rocks are usually brownish gray. Altronia has a few mountains, which block a lot of the sun from the rest of its dome. Altronia's sky is normally a dull dark blue during the summer days, dark blue during the winter days, and black at night.
