The ATA gene is naturally "activated" in only 4% of the human population, with wraith genetic material in a far higher amount (expected to be around 35-50%), although it has been naturally "activated" resulting in Wraith on Earth, in two different "sects" that are at war covertly, giving rise to the myths of vampires and succubi. The Goa'uld technology activation gene is not naturally present in any of Earth's population.
