Excerpt: Airthorns were mechanoids originally built by the Luminoth to patrol local airspace on the planet Aether. When the war broke out between their masters and the invading Ing, they proved to be a boon to the war effort of the Luminoth, until their programming finally failed for an undisclosed reason. They have since gone rogue, and now serve the Ing just as fiercely as they had served their former masters and creators. They are small in size and because of this travel in packs for safety. They can create a "Chakra Shield" force field to protect themselves as well. Antibodies live off their self-generated Organic Energy and require no diet.
