Excerpt: Angila (Angira) is a character in the Dragon Ball franchise. He makes his debut (and ultimately, his only appearance) in the 1991 film Lord Slug. He bears some resemblance to and is highly modeled after Zarbon, one of Frieza's top henchmen, in terms of appearance, charisma and personality. Angila is confident of his ability Angila is the strongest henchman of the titular Lord Slug and, like Piccolo, he is capable of expanding the length of his arms to unparalleled lengths. Along with Wings and Medamatcha, he located the Dragon Balls for Lord Slug. After Piccolo executed Wings and came to rescue Gohan, Angila grabbed him. But Angila was lifted into the sky by the Namekian as he tried to hold on to him. Piccolo managed to lose Angila in the chaos and shield Gohan from Medamatcha's attack. After Goku furiously took out Medamatcha, the enraged Angila fired a Mouth Energy Wave at Goku, only to have the ki blast deflected right back into his mouth, going into his stomach and killing him. Angila and Medamatcha's combined Full Power Energy Blast Volley Angila will make his video game debut in the Japanese only arcade game Dragon Ball Heroes, alongside his comrades and Lord Slug.
