Excerpt: Aobire is a yagara bull from Water 7. He is the main focus of a filler episode in the anime. Aobire is a very old yagara bull, at over 100 years of age. He has grown a small bushy beard and a pair of bushy eyebrows. Both of these have gone white through aging. His most distinguishable feature is his blue dorsal fin for which he was named. Banchina (, Bank na) was Usopp's mother and Yasopp's wife. She pushed her husband to follow his dreams and go to sea with the Red Hair Pirates. However Usopp grows up with a sick mother who became bed-ridden due to her illness. Every day he would tell the same lie, that his father had returned to take them away, hoping it would keep her hopes high and help her to recover. However, she knew he would never return and before her death she told Usopp that she was glad he had gone out to sea. Even after she passed away, Usopp continued to tell the same lie, even though he no longer had any reason to do so. In one of the Loguetown fillers, Yasopp admitted that he was useless and could do nothing for his wife and child. After one of Shanks' men asks "Wasn't it for the better, Yasopp?"
