The Abbot is in charge of The Golden Oak Ritual, held when the Golden Oak of Oakfield produces a single golden acorn, then dies. The Abbot was Hammer's father and was the leader of the Temple of Light until he was killed by one of Lucien's men. You have to talk to him in the quest The Journey Begins. His death resulted in Hammer breaking her oath of pacifism and, ultimately, killing Lucien's man. He is buried up a hill in Oakfield, away from the actual graveyard, and the Golden Oak acorn is planted in his grave. Later, on returning from The Spire, the grave site will appear differently. If you defended the Light, the tree will flourish, while if you massacred Oakfield, the tree will be destroyed. A new Abbot lat...
