Excerpt: Armos Statues are recurring objects in the Legend of Zelda series. They are identical in appearance to Armos, but show no signs of life. In most games, they can be moved and used to compress switches. Armos Statues appear near the Ancient Ruins in the Face Shrine region. Unlike later games, they cannot be moved by Link. Armos Statues are usually a darker color than Armos. Armos Statues commonly appear in dungeons. They look identical to dormant Armos, but can be pushed around and used to compress switches. Armos Statues look identical to their Link's Awakening counterparts, but can be pushed around. In Oracle of Ages, Armos Statues are found near a fountain where a Great Fairy resides on Restoration Wall; Link can move a stone to divert the flow of water, which causes the statues to be partially submerged in water.
